Here is the transition pace we recommend for your dogs:
Day 1 to 3: 70% old croquettes and 30% KOOKAPI
Day 4 to 8: half of each
Day 9 to 11: 30% old croquettes and 70% KOOKAPI
Note, each animal is unique, if you notice unusual symptoms in the first days of the transition, do not hesitate to make a longer food transition.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
The adaptation time of the intestinal flora of dogs is longer than that of humans who are used to eating more variety. When you change your dog's diet, you have to make this change gradually, this is called transitioning.
Our insect protein kibbles particularly require a good transition because most dogs discover this animal protein for the first time. This is an advantage because it reduces its allergenic potential, but you have to give your pet time to get used to it!

We have great feedback on the palatability of our kibbles even in difficult dogs. Many reviews posted by our customers on our site bear witness to this!
We are all the more proud of it because if most of the croquettes found on the market contain chemical appetence factors such as pyrophosphate, at KOOKAPI we only use ingredients of natural origin such as brewer's yeast. and sunflower oil.

PS: A simple way to increase the palatability of a ration for some difficult dogs and puppies is to add slightly lukewarm water to the bowl.
